Plan Ahead: Winter Break and Residence Hall Closures are Approaching

As the end of the semester approaches, so does winter break—and that means residence halls at Tarleton State University will be closing soon. Now is a great time to check in with your student to make sure they’re aware of move-out dates, travel plans, and what they’ll need to do before leaving campus. A little planning now can help ease stress during finals and ensure a smooth transition into the break. Winter Break for Tarleton is observed December 24, 2025–January 1, 2026, and residence halls close at 10 a.m. at term end.
