INCLEMENT WEATHER DELAY/RESCHEDULE

We aim to create a student-focused commencement experience that allows an unlimited number of guests to celebrate our graduates. Memorial Stadium, with the largest seating capacity in Stephenville and Erath County, serves as the venue for our commencement ceremonies.

To enhance the students' graduation experience, the ceremonies will be held outdoors at Memorial Stadium. In the event of inclement weather at ceremony start time, the ceremony could be delayed until up to two hours. Should inclement weather persist, the ceremony will be rescheduled to Saturday afternoon or Sunday. Please consider possible delays/reschedules when making your travel plans and reservations.

If commencement cannot be held in Memorial Stadium (May 16-17), graduates will be invited to participate in the next scheduled ceremony, currently set for August 1-3, 2025. There is not an indoor facility on campus that can accommodate 700+ graduates and over 10,000 guests.

Any updates or changes to the ceremony schedule will be posted on the university website and communicated through social media. Please stay tuned for the latest information.

TICKETS

Since all ceremonies will take place in Memorial Stadium, tickets will not be required.
