Hello Texans!
We have received an influx of communication regarding the Returner Housing Applications for Fall 2024 to Spring 2025 and would like to share the following information to support you. An email was sent to all on-campus students on or around December 8, 2023, as well as on or around January 13, 2024, informing students when applications would be open and how to complete the process. In addition to the emails, flyers were posted throughout Residences Halls. In an effort to be transparent, please review the mentioned flyer as well as the email referenced below:
Please disregard this email if you are not planning to live on campus Fall 2024 - Spring 2025.
Are you interested in living on campus next year???

Our previous emails from housing@tarleton.edu indicated that the Returner 2024/2025 housing application opened on January 16, 2024, at 10 AM. In our communication, we indicated that space was limited. This information was also posted on the Tarleton Housing website. Unfortunately, the housing application is now closed, and our waitlist has reached full capacity. We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you. While on-campus housing is not available at this time, we encourage you to explore alternative housing options off-campus. There are several resources and tools available to assist you in finding suitable accommodation in the vicinity of the university.
Here are some resources you may find helpful:
- Off-Campus Housing Services: Our university aids in locating off-campus housing options. You can visit https://www.tarleton.edu/housing/apply/. If you scroll down, you can find the list of available resources.
- Off-Campus Housing Fair: We will be hosting an Off-Campus housing fair on March 4, 2024 from 1 to 5 PM in the Thompson Student Center. During this time we will be bringing to campus all the potential off-campus housing partners. Please see the attached flyer.
- Financial Assistance: If you are facing financial constraints, please reach out to our financial aid office. They may be able to provide guidance or support to help you secure suitable accommodations.
- Student Resources and Basic Needs: This department can provide additional resources and support.

It seems housing for returning students is limited...that's horrible for the kids that worked hard to make it through the first year of college.
This is terrible for the freshmen...the email states certain halls were available for registration Jan 16-17, does not mention Centennial Hall which is where my grandson lives, so we did not register. It also says other halls...see more
