The Lance Zimmerman Department of Student Involvement, Tradition, Spirit, & Family Relations understands the importance of connecting our Tarleton students to involvement opportunities, campus events, and providing continued opportunities for engagement. As part of the Texan Family, we want to assist with supporting your student while at Tarleton State University. We understand the role of parents and families during such an important time. We hope our students and families will take full advantage of the services and resources we provide.
Family Relations:
Parents Portal is utilized by our department and campus partners to facilitate campus news, events, deadlines, student’s progress and financial information. Parents will receive personalized newsletters, emails, and alerts to share with family and friends.
Tarleton Parent Association:
Parent and family organization that connects parents while giving back to the Tarleton student body. One year and Four year membership options are available for a fee. They volunteer at Tailgates, Round Up, and pack Duck Bags at the end of each semester.
Family Weekend: September 22-23, 2023
Have fun and make lots of memories with your Texan family during Family Weekend. Families are invited to Tarleton to enjoy various events such as games, student organization carnival, movies on the lawn, arts and craft fair, Instagram Bingo, and so much more! We hope to see our Texan family in the Fall of 2023.

TexanSync:
Wondering how your student can get involved on campus? TexanSync will connect your student to over 100 student organizations on campus. We have a variety of student organizations such as, Academic, Art & Music, Club Sports, Cultural, Greek Life, Honor Societies, Leadership & Development, Religious, Service, and Social. Get involved!
Tarleton Activities Board (T.A.B.):
T.A.B. is our departmental student organization that organizes campus activities for Tarleton students.
